151st Markdale Fall Fair - August 28-30, 2009

“Sowing Seeds, Sewing Traditions”

Join us for a weekend of family fun at the 151st Markdale Fall Fair from August 28th to 30th, 2009. We'll have Classic Amusements as our MIDWAY all weekend, exhibits, vendors, children's area and entertainment. Jugglers, Mad Science and much more. NEW THIS YEAR is a Saturday evening outdoor concert under the BIG TOP beginning at 7 p.m. – featuring The Black Family, Pickled Beats and THE ROCKAFELLERS! Show runs to 11 p.m. and is family friendly. Admission is simply with your day or weekend pass to the fair!!

Admission for the fair is:

Daily: Adults $5; Seniors/Students: $3; Children under 12: $2.

Daily Family Pass: $10 (2 adults/2 children)

Daily Generations Pass: $15 (2 adults/two students/seniors)

Weekend Single Pass: Adult: $8; Senior/Student: $5; Child: $3.

The 2009 Fairbook is now available – click on the link at the right or use the "Our Fairbook" button at the top for a downloadable version of the fairbook. Exhibitors may deliver their entries to the Centre Grey Recreatipon Complex from 7 – 9 p.m. on Thursday Aug. 27th and/or from 9 a.m. to 12 NOON on Friday, Aug. 28th. All indoor exhibits must be entered by Friday at noon for judging in the afternoon.
